Hi, I’m so glad you’re here.
Whether you found me through a friend’s recommendation or stumbled across Discover Love Matches in your search for something real—I believe there’s a reason our paths have crossed.
I’m Rhonda: a professional matchmaker, lifelong lover of stories, personal growth enthusiast, wife, mom, grandma, and all-around people person. I’m also someone who deeply believes in the power of connection and the magic that happens when two people finally find the one.
I believe dating should feel hopeful again. I believe introductions should be thoughtful and intentional. And that love is absolutely still out there for you—no matter your age or stage of life.
But this work isn’t just professional for me—it’s personal.
I’ve been divorced. I’ve been a single mom, navigating the dating world with my son’s best interests always front and center. I know what it’s like to feel both hopeful and tired. I’ve swiped, I’ve tried, I’ve sat through the coffee dates that went nowhere—and I’ve kept the faith that the right connection was still out there. So when I say I get it—I really do.
And I also know what it’s like when it finally works.
My husband Craig and I met online. We always say we got lucky—but the truth is, we both put in the effort to sort through a lot before we found each other. When I was looking for love the second time around, I knew I wanted someone who was a dad. That might not be your story—but for me, it opened up a whole new kind of love I didn’t even know to expect.
Now, in addition to my own son, I have a bonus son and the daughter I always wanted—plus their incredible partners and a beautiful extended family who welcomed me with open arms. I was looking for the one, and what I found was the one and his whole family. My family.
There was a time during my single season when I felt deeply discouraged, especially after a rejection that really stung. I remember my pastor saying one Sunday, “Be thankful—especially when you don’t get what you’ve prayed for.” And it stopped me in my tracks. I realized I’d been praying for people not to reject me… but in hindsight, rejection was God’s protection. He had more for me—something richer, more aligned, and worth the wait. Whether or not you share my faith, I think there’s a universal lesson there: not every “no” is a loss. Sometimes, it’s the clearing for something so much better. And, I met Craig that Thursday.
In 2017, I began sharing my personal health journey online, just living out loud. A coach messaged me, “You’re inspiring people just by being real.” That moment changed everything — for me and for Craig. We met at our heaviest, married at our healthiest, and together we’ve released 170 pounds. We’ve been coaching others toward lasting well-being ever since.
Before that, I was a teacher — and honestly, every chapter of my life has had one thing in common: serving others with hope and encouragement. Whether it’s in health, relationships, or personal growth, I believe we cross paths for a reason, a season, or a purpose.
Today, Craig and I share a life full of adventure—hiking, chasing waterfalls, spontaneous getaways to Kauai and Sedona, and riding our e-bikes like we’re still in our twenties. It’s not perfect, but it’s real, and it’s ours. That’s exactly what I want to help you find too—something true.
My life is full—blessed with a big, close-knit family, deep friendships, and a love for growth, connection, and staying young at heart. I’m passionate about diversity and creating a space where everyone feels welcome, seen, and celebrated for exactly who they are.
People often tell me they want a love story like mine and Craig’s—and nothing makes me happier than helping others create their own version. Because real love? It’s not just possible. It’s worth it.
