    1. Gratitude. Give it daily. You will reduce stress, improve your health, protect yourself from negative emotions and sustain your relationships.

    1. Dance. Dance is a powerful tool for self-expression, whatever your age or ability. It's mood-boosting, bonding and just feels joyous.

    1. Holistic Healing. Massage,chiropractic care, energy medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, Ayurvedic medicine. Whatever speaks to you is the thing to seek out.

    1. Get a Great Haircut. Almost nothing feels better than a great haircut! You can’t help but having a swagger in your step when you leave the salon because you’re looking so good!!. Remember your hair is your most important accessory.

    1. Buy New Underwear. And to match your fab new haircut get some new undies. Ones that match, have whimsy or are colorful. You may be the only one who sees them but that’s o.k. because you’re wearing them for yourself!

    1. Visit with a friend. On a porch, in a park, at a lake or coffee shop. For a long time. Hours. Just talk. It’s a great way to slow down your life and make a really lovely connection with yourself and your friend.

    1. Abstain from drama and negativity. Give up hanging around people and situations that don’t better your life. Life is too short for that kind of voluntary suffering.

    1. Be a tourist in your hometown. Try a new restaurant, go to your art museum, galleries, bookstores. Ride a train, take a cab, stay in a hotel. Look at your town with new appreciation.

    1. Eat with thought and intention. Think about where your food came from and slow down enough to really taste all the flavors. It’s amazing how much better it all tastes.

    1. Travel. “We travel, some of us forever, to seek other places, other lives, other souls.” – Anais Nin

    1. Think of something you’re “bad” at and give it a try. Singing, drawing, a new sport, whatever it is...look through a beginners guide or take a class and learn how to do it correctly. You just might find you’re not so bad at it after all.

    1. Reward yourself for all your effort. You work hard, carry your own burdens and are  a good person. You deserve your own appreciation for all you do.

    1. Love who you are for real. Don’t just say it, really dig deep and find the things that others love about you and love those things too. You have to love yourself in order to be loved.

    1. Look for greater challenges. There is always another challenge out in the world to keep you engaged and interested in life. Go for it!!

    1. Treat yourself the way you treat the people that you love. Look at yourself with the same love you give to your friends and family. Be your own best friend and be kind to yourself.
